If you have recently changed banks and need to update your banking details for your SASSA SRD grant,
Here’s how
Step 1: Visit the SASSA SRD website
Step 2: Scroll to the bank details section
Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see “How do I change my banking details”

Step 3: Insert information
Enter your ID Number in the space provided.

Step 4: Secure link
- An SMS with a secure link unique to you will be sent to the mobile phone number you provided during the application process.
- Click on the secure link found in the SMS,
- the link will redirect you to a website with clear instructions you need to complete.
Clients are encouraged to provide correct banking information when completing their application for the COVID-19 SRD award. Failure to do so causes the payment of their accepted application to be delayed.
