You can also appeal your application through the SRD website:
1. Go to https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals/appeal.
2. Enter your ID number and the phone number you used to submit your application.
3. Click the button that says “send pin” and follow the instructions.

How To Do A Sassa Status Check For Old SRD Grant Appeals
Go to srd.sassa.gov.za and search for the section labeled “Reconsideration status check: May 2020 to March 2022” if you were an applicant for the R350 award and lodged an appeal between May 2020 and March 2022.
After that, you will be requested to provide both your identification number and the mobile phone number that you provided in the grant application. After that, you will get a one-time pin from Sassa, and after that, you should follow the procedures that are given to monitor your previous grant appeal for R350.
In addition, in order to ensure that applicants are eligible, Sassa checks the applicant’s identity number against databases maintained by organisations including the South African Revenue Service (SARS), the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
